Policy > Cancellation Policy (non-weather related)

On occasion, due to instructor illness or a facilities-related event, Isis Maternity is forced to cancel a class. Please see the listings below to understand the specific make-up policies related to your particular situation. Please know we are committed to your education and will make every effort for you to make-up your cancelled class.

If Isis Maternity cancels a class due to a weather related situation, please see our weather policy. If you would like information about making-up a class due to client absence, see class make-up policy.

New Moms Groups If Isis Maternity cancels one of these class sessions we will schedule one make-up class to take place at the end of the series. If there is more than one cancellation in a series, we will provide a prorated class-only credit to be applied toward any future class. Classes include:

  • Great Beginnings
  • Next Step
  • Caterpillars

Child Development Classes and Child Activity Classes If Isis Maternity cancels one of these class sessions you may make it up by dropping into another class session of the same class type. Classes include:

  • Social Butterflies
  • Movers & Groovers
  • Sprouts
  • Explorers
  • Lightning Bugs
  • Walkers & Talkers

Child Activity Classes

  • Itsy Bitsy Yoga Tots and Babies
  • Kindermusik Village

If Isis Maternity cancels one of these class sessions we will do our best to add a make-up class. If clients cannot attend a make-up, we will offer a prorated class-only credit.

One Day Classes If Isis Maternity cancels a single-session class, we will offer you the option of switching into another scheduled class of the same type. If there are not enough spaces in upcoming classes we will make add a class to accommodate you. If we can’t find a class to meet your needs, we will provide a store credit or refund. Classes include:

  • Prepared Childbirth (One Day)
  • Newborn Essentials
  • Breastfeeding Basics
  • Infant/Child CPR
  • Single Session Workshops

Multi-Week Childbirth Education Classes If Isis Maternity cancels one of the classes in a childbirth series we will add a make-up class at the end of the series. If more than one class is cancelled, the instructor will work directly with the class to either start earlier or end later for the remaining class sessions. The instructors will also condense the content to fit the remaining classes. Classes include:

  • Prepared Childbirth
  • Natural Childbirth
  • Hypnobirthing
