BWH Tours

As a service to our clients and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Isis Maternity provides tour registration services, but we are not responsible for tour cancellations or other issues related to adult maternity or sibling tours. If you have issues related to your BWH tour, please send an email to: lthurmond@partners.org. If you have questions regarding the tour registration process, please call Isis Maternity at 781-429-1500. This tour meets in the Main Lobby of Brigham & Women’s Hospital at 75 Francis Street near the Emergency Room waiting area.

Adult Maternity Tours – Please Review

• Adult maternity tours last approximately 1 hour and include a tour of the OB admitting area, a labor and delivery room, a postpartum recovery room and the newborn nursery.
• For safety and health reasons, children are not permitted to participate in the adult tours.
• If a tour is under enrolled and needs to be cancelled, you will be notified by BWH 24 hours in advance to reschedule.
• Due to hospital security and respect for all tour attendees, adult maternity tours will begin on time. Unfortunately, BWH will be unable to accommodate late arrivals.
• Adult maternity tours are for two people only – the patient and one support person. Unfortunately, any additional people will not be able to join the tour.

Sibling Tours – Please Review

• Sibling tours last approximately 30-45 minutes and do not include a tour of the maternity floors. The tour does include a visit to a postpartum room and the newborn nursery and provides basic information about Mom’s stay in the hospital.
• Children must be at least 3 years old to attend the sibling tour.
• If a tour is under enrolled and needs to be cancelled, you will be notified by BWH 24 hours in advance to reschedule.
• Due to hospital security and respect for all tour attendees, sibling tours will begin on time. Unfortunately, BWH will be unable to accommodate late arrivals.
