Swimming is a fun and exciting activity for you and your child to share together. This class is a great way to introduce your baby to the water and establish the abilities that will foster a strong and capable little swimmer. Sessions focus on your child’s comfort in the water using water games, flotation devices and skill repetition. No make-up classes available. Age Range: 6 to 17 months
Waterbabies is held at the Jewish Community Center, 333 Nahanton Street in Newton. Swim diapers, vinyl cover for swim diapers, bathing suit, towels, and swim caps for parent and child are required. Items are available for sale at the JCC but due to Shabbat sales transactions cannot be processed on Saturdays. Isis Maternity members and JCC members receive the member price listed.
