Social Butterflies

Social Butterflies love to look at and interact with others and they enjoy stimulating new environments.

Each session in this series begins with a welcome circle – a time for greeting each other with songs, bounces and parachute play, adding in new rhymes and fingerplays sure to become new favorites.

An interactive play session is introduced with a variety of new toys and activities, all planned around your baby’s expanding abilities and social interactions. Water mats, mirror toys, texture blocks, soft ball pits, spinning tops and other cause-and-effect toys will capture your baby’s interest, while bouncing toys and peek-a-boo tunnels enhance your baby’s physical and cognitive development.

Brief discussion topics are introduced each week and parents always have time for sharing stories or asking questions. At the end of the group babies enjoy the calming routine of bubbles and singing a good-bye song.

Age Range: 6 to 8 months at start of group.
