Barks and Babies

Congratulations…you’re having a baby! But what about your relationship with your first baby…your dog? Introducing a baby into the family dynamics can be stressful for you and your pet, but it doesn’t have to be. This course will help prepare all of you for a smooth transition. You’ll learn fun, creative and proven techniques to introduce your dog to all the new commotion, equipment and schedule adjustments that come with a new baby. The course’s clear and simple explanations, building block trimester-by-trimester approach, and anticipatory, proactive exercises will help prevent future behavior issues (or treat current ones). Your dog is happiest and most secure with consistant limits. Things go smoother when every family member, canine and human, understands their rules and roles. If possible, take this class in early or mid-pregnancy, but the information and Q&A sessions will be helpful even if your baby is here, and you have questions about modifying your dog’s behaviors.
