Background: Nurse and mom-baby family educator, lactation consultant, specialist in infant development, feeding, soothing and sleep. Founded Great Beginnings New Mothers Groups pre-Isis 15 years ago and created many of the current class curricula at Isis.

Role at Isis: VP of Education

Likes to write about: Everything baby. Infant care and development, breastfeeding, introducing solid foods, sleep, health issues, answering new parent questions and concerns.

Names and ages of children: Toby, age 12.5 and Julia age 15.5.

Dream vacation: Two weeks on the beach with perfect 84F weather every day and a big stack of good novels to make my way through. Ahhh.

Go-to baby shower gift: A baby sling and a Super Swaddle blanket.

Favorite Isis moment: Any time a mom with an older child stops me in the center to say “hello, you might not remember me but several years ago, when s/he was a baby, you helped me with…â€. I usually do remember them! Also, when moms tell me about friends they made in their Isis classes many months or years ago, and that they are still very close. I love the connection, peer support and community-building our centers encourage.
