ISIS MATERNITY IS NAMED A 2007 RETAIL INNOVATOR

Isis Maternity was recognized for its growth in an increasingly competitive

marketplace by being creative, enterprising and steadfast.

Needham, Mass., January 2008 - Isis Maternity’s award-winning retail team is thrilled to be named a 2007 Retail Innovator by Kids Today magazine, the leading business publication devoted to the infant and juvenile home furnishings and textiles industries.

Kids Today’s second annual retail innovators list recognizes retailers who are meeting the challenges of growing their businesses in an increasingly competitive marketplace by being creative, enterprising, steadfast, and by thinking outside the box. Examples of Isis Maternity’s innovative methods include its wide variety of resources and expert-led classes at each of its three centers, as well as the publication of the 2007 Safe and Sound List, the 2007 Holiday Gift List, and the Buying Tips for Parents to help families find great ideas for safe toys and products in the wake of many children’s product recalls in the recent months.

In addition to being named to the Retail Innovators list, Kids Today also has asked Isis Maternity’s Courtemanche to speak at the publication’s Eighth Annual Conference in Savannah, Georgia, in March. Courtemanche will appear on the Retail Panel, entitled “Reach Out and Touch Someone,” and will discuss how stores today can reach consumers, whether through building a brand or offering unique services.

In addition to the recognition by Kids Today, Courtemanche and the Isis Maternity retail team have also been named Boston’s Favorite Maternity Shop by The Boston Parents’ Paper; have won the WBZTV.com A-List two years in a row for best Maternity Apparel in the Boston area; and was named the Best New Business in 2005 by the Retail Association of Massachusetts.
