Nancy H.  RN, BSN, IBCLC

Director of Early Parenting Programs. Nancy helped brainstorm and develop Isis Maternity when it was an idea discusssed in living rooms and coffee shops around town. Nancy created and oversees many of the prenatal and new parent programs at Isis Maternity. She is a registered nurse and board certified lactation consultant and founder of Great Beginnings New Mothers Groups, where she facilitated over twelve years worth of programs for mothers and babies. She speaks and writes for a national audience about breastfeeding and infant development, and has served on the board of MLCA, the Massachusetts Lactation Consultants Association. Nancy has practiced clinical nursing at Boston's Beth Israel Hospital and has fifteen years of experience as a mother/baby nurse educator. She received a BS from Northeastern University College of Nursing, and a Certificate in Advanced Pediatric Assessment from Boston College. She lives just outside Boston with her husband and children: a teenaged daughter and a 'tween'-aged son.
