Kristen has been a nurse for nine years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Joseph's College in Maine in 1997. She worked in at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical center and at Children's Hospital Boston before becoming a Maternal Child Health Nurse for the Visiting Nurse Association of Boston in 2000, where her passion for promoting and supporting breastfeeding moms began. Kristen received her Masters in Nursing at Simmons College in Nurse Practitioner track with a concentration in pediatric primary care in 2004. She works as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Lactation Consultant in a private practice pediatric office. Kristen grew up in Sharon and now lives with her husband and baby in Norwood.
