Heather B.

While growing up in North Carolina, Heather Becton nurtured her interests in alternative health and medicine. After moving to Boston in 1996, she decided to turn her interest into a livelihood and enrolled in the muscular therapy institute in Cambridge. It is there that she was first introduced to prenatal massage, and the experience has led her along a path that is wholly intuitive to her nature. She trained with Carole Osborne-Sheets in 2001 and has been providing massage for women during the childbearing year ever since. In addition to her massage therapy career, Heather has been providing support to new families in her capacity as a postpartum doula since 2000, working privately as well as with MotherCare Services. Heather is currently studying craniosacral therapy through the Upledger Institute with the goal of becoming trained in craniosacral for the childbearing year as well as working with newborns. In her spare time, you could expect to find heather out cycling, doing yoga or curled up with a good book! She is happy to be a part of the Isis team and is eager to share her gifts and skills with the community!
