Eva B.  MS Ed.

Eva is originally from Sweden, and relocated to Boston several years ago after living in Ithaca, NY, for over 25 years where she worked with children and families for in many different roles. Most recently, she was chair of the Early Childhood Education program at Tompkins Cortland Community College where she taught a variety of child development courses to students of all ages. She was a Family Child Care home visitor, working with infants and toddlers; Director of an infant childcare center; Executive director of a resource and referral agency; and a consultant with Prevent Child Abuse NY. Eva has two grown children and is an active participant in the lives of her two grandchildren- they are the reason she relocated to Boston! Eva received her BS in Adult Education and ECE from Cornell University and her MS ED. in ECE from Elmira College. Co-author of the book "Childcare That Works", Eva is runs our popular weekend Next Step Baby Group, providing support and expertise for mothers returning to work, and developmental fun and learning for their babies.
