Debbi S.

Debbi Shamon, LICSW, is a clinical social worker who has been working with children and families for the past ten years. She earned her undergraduate degree in child development and psychology from Tufts University and her Masters in Social Work from Smith College. Debbi has worked with children and families in a variety of ways including as a nanny, a therapeutic preschool teacher at Boston Medical Center, and most recently, as a therapist in a residential treatment program of the Home for Little Wanderers. Professionally, Debbi's primary focus has been attachment and how healthy relationships between caregivers and children supports children's development. Infants and toddlers and their caregivers are her most favorite group of people. Now that she has her own child, Debbi is thrilled to be part of the Isis team working with families as they move through the joys and challenges of the first few years of parenting!
