Bianca P.

Bianca was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and moved to the United States at age 16. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Swarthmore College outside of Philadelphia, Bianca moved to Boston and started working as a counselor and a medical assistant at a busy women's health clinic. Inspired by her work, Bianca decided to become a doula and an adult and women's health nurse practitioner. She earned her her Master's of Science in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2005 and since has worked providing gynecological and primary care to young adults in downtown Boston. In her spare time, Bianca enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her husband and two cats, and knits compulsively.
