Kathleen H. RN, BSN, IBCLC

Kathy is a registered nurse with a BS degree from Boston University School of Nursing and has been an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant for the past ten years. She has worked at Childrens Hospital Boston and Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles, and spent most of her nursing career at Brigham and Womens Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. While there, she helped to develop a NICU-Based Lactation Program. She has spoken at numerous conferences and co-authored a chapter of the Neonatology Manual used at Harvard Medical School. Kathy has always enjoyed working with families and their new babies, providing teaching and support during the transition to parenthood. Kathy has a private practice providing in-home lactation consulting in the Metro West area (www.bestforbaby.org) and lives in Medway with her family, including 2 busy children (ages 12 and 15).
